Esnes Quarry

Esnes quarry is something a bit different for the area, it’s an 18 acre disused sand and gravel quarry and as a result boast a huge array of different features including several islands with channels, plateaus, bars and a variety of depths up to 40ft. We have a purpose built carpark that is behind 2 sets of locked gates for your security, there is also a toilet on site. From the carpark there is a stone path which takes you around the lake to your swim. The swims are all made for the session angler in mind with large bivvy spaces and each commanding plenty of water, some of which giving you access to fish from the islands. We have a number of double and social swims allowing you to enjoy your session with friends. Esnes gin clear waters make for some very interesting fishing, watch the carp move between baited spots and pick up baits.

With over 600 stocked carp and some originals esnes can be the place to get multiple fish per trip, this is a young venue with a bright future and the fish are showing great signs of growth, we stocked a great cross section of fish with loads of scaley lookers. The lake record currently stands at 42lb with some 30s and an ever increasing number of 20s, with lots of young mid to upper doubles multiple catches are common place.
